The teams at backup solutions company Backblaze must be jumping in joy as they just passed 500 Petabytes of stored data. This is a raise in the last 4 months of 100 Petabytes.
Backblaze has seen amazing growth and is a great service anyone with lots of files should get. At a cost as low as $5 a month you can keep your files safe in the worst case disaster.
We’re not just focusing on data ingress, but also adhering to our original goal of making sure that “no one ever loses data again.” How quickly are we restoring data? On average, we’re literally moving at 1,000,000 files per hour.
